There's really not much to say about today. My mind's been really fuzzy all day and I've just been going through the motions really. I did have a test, and I think it went well, but aside from that nothing really happened. I've been incredibly distracted because one of my absolute favourite shows, probably number 1 actually, is coming back tonight after a hiatus. I don't know why the network keeps putting it on hiatus, but they do. It's all in season one and I think it might be because they needed to make more episodes, but I'm not really positive about that. Anyways, have you ever heard of the show called Nikita? It's on the CW, the same network that has the Vampire Diaries, which I don't watch. It's a really good show, I'll post a synopsis that I have (not mine just fyi), so that you can see what it's about.
The '90s cult-classic returns to television with this remake about a young woman who is framed for murder, sentenced to death, and then forced to become an assassin for a covert branch of the government called Division after they fake her execution. When she realizes that she has been betrayed by everyone she thought she could trust, Nikita goes AWOL and goes on a mission to save future victims and expose this covert operation.
And this one!!!
When she was a deeply troubled teenager, Nikita was rescued from death row by a secret U.S. agency known only as Division, who faked her execution and told her she was being given a second chance to start a new life and serve her country. What they didn't tell her was that she was being trained as a spy and assassin. Throughout her grueling training at Division, Nikita never lost her humanity, even falling in love with a civilian. When her fiancé was murdered, Nikita realized she had been betrayed and her dreams shattered by the only people she thought she could trust, so she did what no one else before her had been able to do: she escaped. Now, after three years in hiding, Nikita is seeking retribution and making it clear to her former bosses that she will stop at nothing to expose and destroy their covert operation.
If you get the chance, you should check out this show!! If you live in the US, you can watch it right on the CW website. If you don't drop me a line and I will help you out :)
Very-excited-for-Nikita-tonight,
Jessa
