The Hungers Games- Peeta and Gale

They cast Peeta and Gale. Yeah. Not very happy with one of the castings, and the other one...well I'll just wait and see.

First, I don't think I'll mind Josh Hutcherson as Peeta. I mean, I really enjoyed Bridge to Teribithia, so this should be okay. Totally different stories, obviously, but still. I'm open on this one, and I'll wait until I see him onscreen. I don't like the character though...his names sounds like everyonbe's talking about pita bread. Ah well.

Now, Liam Hemsworth as Gale. First of all, I don't mind the character, in the books he's okay, but puts up with too much of Katniss' shit. Anyways, the reason I don't like him (the actor) is because I HATED his acting in The Last Song. I seriously hated it. I actually hated that entire movie...but that's not what I'm here for. I'm not actually sure who I pictured as Gale, but it was definitely NOT him. I would think that these two guys would be better switched around, but oh well...wait, that would mean Liam's in the movie more. Scratch that, this is fine. I suppose I can ignore all of this while watching the movie, I do still want to see it, but who knows? Did you know that Liam's dating Miley Cyrus? Makes me want to strangle myself. Can't stand either of them -.-

I am curious to see who they cast for other people though. I would be so tempted to audition, but...I can't :P I have a good idea for Cato though. I was thinking about Tom Felton for him, not sure why. I think it could work. However, I have a VERY specific idea for Haymitch, and if this actor is not cast I will be severely displeased.

I want none other that Johnny Depp to play Haymitch. Johnny can play a drunk soooo well, and I think that the role of Haymitch would be another "Captain Jack Sparrow" role for him. Meaning, it's absolutely perfect. The casting people should look into this...seriously.

Also, Ralph (I believe) Fiennes, the man who plays Lord Voldemort...would make a pretty kick-ass, awesome, terrifying, President Snow. :)

Let's-not-get-into-the-sign-off-now,
Jessa
