Last night, or rather, early this morning there was a really terrible thunderstorm. I don't know when it started, but at one point it woke me up so I had to turn off all my electronics so nothing exploded. Or got permanently damaged. Anyways, I was pretty shake up the entire night, considering I am terrified of thunderstorms. Well, for the most part. During the day I am normally okay with them, though I don't like them by any means. It's when they're at night that they scare me. There was also this huge thunder crack. I'm not going to exaggerate here but it was like a really loud gunshot or bomb explosion or something that you'd hear in the theatres that makes you jump about ten feet in the air. But apparently there is a small amount of flooding around other neighbourhoods where I live...so I hope that everyone there is safe..even though none of you will read this.
In other news, I am going to be CPR/First Aid certified by the end of this week. Sad part is, that means no double posts from Wednesday on. I'm going to be really occupied with training and with a meeting I have on Friday. I'm also frantically searching for a job and bugging my parents to complete their income taxes so that I can apply for a bursary...by Friday. Fun. I'll let you guys know (I know you're out there!!) How everything goes :)
Going-to-be-exhausted-by-the-end-of-the-week,
Jessa
